New items like: hub site, achievement badges, and content library.
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Each program year we review our practices, listen to your feedback, and make improvements. The slide deck linked below includes all the changes, but here are some of the highlights:
Hub Site
The new hub site replaces our previous Google Drive folder, monthly email newsletter, and more. Make sure to check regularly and utilize it! You can find more details on it here.
Achievement Badges
We now have achievement badges that you can earn! These achievement badges are great opportunities for you to share your accomplishments on LinkedIn (and submit as a social media project!)
There are three types of Achievement Badges: Quantity, Rare, and Limited Time.
For more details on each level of badge, refer to the updates slide deck or the “Badge Center” on the Resources page.
Content Library
A most requested item! You will now see access to a new Monday board called the “Content Library”. This is where I will post available topics or promotions to be used in projects. This includes social media promotions (webinars, etc.), available blog topics, and video ideas.
You will be notified when new social media promos are ready to be posted about.
Sponsorship Application Windows
Sponsorships will now only be received and reviewed during specific timeframes throughout the school year. These application windows are October 1-31st, and January 1-31st.
You can still request parts for projects anytime throughout the school year.
Point Levels
Point levels have been reduced from Low, Medium, High to just Low and High. You’ll find all projects are now aligned with the same point values; with Low being 5 points and High being 10 points.
Attendance Projects
We have a new project type! Attendance Projects are now an option to complete. An Attendance Project is completed by attending a DigiKey webinar, or an Ambassador Program Virtual Event.
You can view requirements for the project on the “Attendance Project Guide” on the Resources tab.
Story Posts
You can now receive points for posting on your story! Check out the details in the new onboarding deck or the project resources.
Topic Approval Process
For all projects, you’ll now submit your Topic Idea through the Monday Project Submission Board, rather than emailing me the idea. I’ll then notify you in Monday if the topic is approved. If it is approved and you are ready to submit the final project, you will comment in Monday an update including the final project for review.
For example, if you would like to write a blog on Peanut Butter & Jelly, you will submit the Project Submission Form stating your idea. In Monday, it will appear in the “Topic Approvals” group. I will then change the status from “In Review” to “Approved” when it is ready to start. When the blog first draft is done, you’ll comment in the Updates section of the original Monday task with a PDF or Word Doc of the blog. I will then officially move the Monday task to the current month, and change it to “Review A”.
