So your contract is incomplete? Here’s how to fix it ⬇️
Contracts are required to be completed by May 31st, 2026. Your contract outlined that you would complete at least 1 Event Project and 1 Other Project. Here’s some tips if you haven’t completed your contract yet:
Missing Your Event Project ⤵️
If you’re missing your event project, there are a few ways to get this done ASAP. As a reminder, this project entails a) attending an event b) handing out merch and c) taking and submitting photos. This project is harder to complete last minute since it requires student attendance on campus, but here are some options:
- Modify the Location
Rather than setting up a booth at a club event, set up a table or your backpack in the hallway, hand out merch, and take photos of those students. - Find a Fun Event to Attend
Lots of clubs have end of school year events that are fun, social events, rather than a traditional workshop (think like an end of school year pizza party). These events can work to hand out merch too!
Missing Your Other Project ⤵️
The other project entails any other project submitted and completed for the program. This could be: another event, social media post, webinar attendance, video, or blog. Here’s some ideas on how to complete this ASAP:
- Attend DigiKey’s Onsemi Webinar – 5/27
This one is super easy and quick to complete. Register and attend the webinar live, then turn in the webinar attendance project details and that will work! You can register for the webinar here. - Post an End of School Year Social Media Post
Draft up an end of school year wrapup post for LinkedIn. This could highlight projects you completed for the program this year, events you attended for the program, etc. This could be done quickly!
As a reminder, if your contract is not completed in time, or an alternate plan has not been negotiated, you are ineligible to continue in next school year’s program and are not eligible to receive final payment for any points you have outstanding.
